I have a 4 year old girl what are wii games that she might enjoy. She has never played video games before?

We just got the wii and we are looking for people with young kids who have experience playing that can tell me some titles that might be enjoyable to a 4 yr old girl that has never played video games before

I have a 6 and 8 year old, we first got a Wii about a year and a half ago. Have maybe 20 – 25 games or so.

By far the best I’d recommend for kids – Endless Ocean. It’s non-competitive, no scoring involved, not possible to make a mistake or "die", go at your own pace, you swim around and find fish and treasures for as long as you want. To this date, it remains my six year old’s very favorite.

Very educational too – my six year old is telling me about how a blue whale is the earth’s biggest mammal, all about different species of fish (he’s quizzing me to see if I can identify fish by species name – I can’t – he can…), etc.

I take exception with a few of the other answers – Mario Kart – that’s one of my favorites – but it’s highly competitive, and the whole point is to "attack" the other drivers by throwing stuff at them. Great game – but not for four year olds…..

I believe we have all other games mentioned in answers so far, on either Wii or Nintendo DS.

    Endless Ocean…….you won’t go wrong……..

depends really young children are mostly into active games that you can play with them like wii sports or any multi player games. Or if she can read and likes singing buy her a karaoke game my cousins and I can’t stop playing them :)

Wii Sports (which comes with the Wii) is a fun game for young children. Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, or any of the Pokemon games are games she also might enjoy.

you probably want a game that’s fun, colorful, entertaining, easy and have your kid be learning at the same time(optional). ask her what kind of movies or shows she likes. there’s most likely a game based on the show or movie that she likes. so do a little on it or go to gamestop and ask if they have a game like that.

The number 1 game idea for little kids would b Wii Play! It has tons of games! They r super easy! Plus it uses the games to teach u how to play the wii! It teaches u how to rotate your wrist and drive and race plus so much more! This would help her with basic skills u need 2 play harder games! Another game i recomend iz We Cheer! Itz alot harder then the other but it doesnt require any button pushing u just move ur arms the way the arrows r going! I hope i waz help! If u have any othe wii q’s just ask im always lookin 4 questions 2 answer!

Cosmic Family its a game designed for 4 year olds.

They get to explore a house and do activities that teach them things.

They get to know each member of the cosmic family.

    IGN says this:
Players will have a chance to interact with the Cosmic Family, where they will meet Mom and Dad Cosmic, Big Sister, the two small children, the aloof dog, the lazy cat, and plenty of colorful monsters. With 15 early-learning mini-games found throughout the five floors of the rocket-house, families can pilot a rocket into space, discover what the stars are hiding, create and color whimsical images, customize rooms, brush a monster’s teeth, play dress-up with various characters, nurture plants from seeds and more.

    General Features
•Fun intuitive gameplay – Using the Wii remote, Cosmic Family features easy point and click play which is perfect for even the youngest gamer.
•Cosmic Family allows kids to develop observation, logic, memory and reflexes, whilst discovering, using imagination and having fun.
•Over 20 early learning mini games– Kids will develop various learning skills by playing mini games that focus on things like colors, shapes, puzzles and more.
•300 interactive animations and sounds – Essentially every object in the Cosmic Family rocket is interactive in some way. By pointing and clicking you can unlock music, sounds, animations and more!
•Different modes of play – With 3 difficulty levels (easy–medium–hard) kids can either play in ‘adventure mode’ which is a treasure hunt consisting of challenges and rewards or ‘direct access’ mode which allows kids to play all of the mini games at once.

Honestly i think she’s to young to be playing video games.
maybe wait till she’s a couple years older.
4 year olds don’t want to sit around and play games all day.
even the wii isn’t always motion based.

If she’s never played a video game before, don’t underestimate and get her a game like dora, sesame street etc… games that are based off media tend to usually suck and would probably make her first gameplay horrible. you can still get a great game no matter the age or gaming experience.

    Check this site out: http://www.gamespot.com/wii/index.html?navclk=wii&tag=nav-top;wii

Look for the highest rated games in the wii section, games that are 8.5 rating or so. Also ones that have an E-Rating, 4 year olds shouldn’t go past E at that age, not just for content but for difficulty reasons. Any E-rated games should be fine.
