Is Wii Music, truly, a great game?

I’ve looked at reviews and they say that it’s not so great. I don’t like comparing this game to guitar hero or rock band because those games have completely different concepts. The wii is targeted at a family audience. Some people have different tastes in music. Wii music is what Miyomoto’s taste is. I do believe this game makes great use of the wiimote and nunchuck. Wii music is meant for enjoyability-not getting the highest score. I say Wii Music teaches you to practice and feel like you’re actually playing the instrument with motion controls.

I have Wii Music and Rockband 2. and here is what I think…

Rockband is better. This is only because you can play drums, guitar, bass, and sing. I got Wii Music first, and got bored of it very easily.. It’s not very fun to play at parties either. 2 good things about it are that iy’s cheaper, and you can play more ‘"instruments" I really suggest getting Rockband 2 instead

if you play music, and enjoy it, like if your in band or have been in band, or a band, then wii music is for you. the controls are great, the sound is superb, and the game is just pure fun. although it has no true "campaign", it includes many fun mini games that unlock new instruments. wii music has over 60 instruments and they are all so fun to play. i personally love the game!
