Video games for playstations wii’s 360xbox and most systems can be downloaded and put on a dvd disc, Why?
cant games that are made for wii’s be played on a playstation if your downloading the games and making them yourself?

All systems have different hardware and programming structure and system software. Think of it like PC vs Mac computers. Programs made for PCs cannot be run on the native Mac operating system and vice versa.
A good way to think about it is like languages….
Each systems hardware (Xbox 360) knows only one language and if you put a disk (Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3 Game) ) in that is a different language it wont be able to read it…
For the same reason software for macs doesn’t run on a windows PC. It has nothing to do with what kind of disc the game is on… the consoles load and run the games differently. A 360 wouldn’t know what to do with the code on a disc intended for the Wii… and the PS3 uses Blu-ray discs for games, not DVDs, to begin with.
Trying to run a game for one console on a completely different console would be like going up to someone who only speaks Russian and expecting them to understand you when you’re speaking English.
